Two men have found a way to survive a world populated with virus-infected zombies. Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), afraid of everything, discovers that fear can keep him alive. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) is an AK-toting zombie slayer whose only goal is to eat the last Twinkie on Earth. They form an uneasy alliance with sisterly con artists Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) in order to stay alive. "Zombieland" is a hilarious gore-filled romp that is sure to be compared with "Shaun Of The Dead". But the laughs come quicker here and ease the tension caused by some gut-wrenching sights. Director Ruben Fleischer cleverly unfolds this comedy/horror as a mockumentary in which Columbus' narrative relates his "rules to survival" while accompanying the girls on their trek to an amusement park in California. In Hollywood, the foursome encounters a movie star - leading to one of the funniest cameos in film history. Emma Stone and a mature Abigail Breslin are great, but they take a back seat to the antics of the modern comedy team of Harrelson & Eisenberg. They are the new Abbott & Costello, which could lead to a series of monster comedies. For anyone in search of blood-soaked hilarity, "Zombieland" is a no-brainer.
